Thailand Opens Draft Rules for Spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs
Thailand SEC moves spot Bitcoin and Ether ETF rules to draft stage Thailand’s SEC has opened public consultations on draft rules for locally listed spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs, advancing the framework to the next regulatory stage. The proposal would require each fund to keep average net exposure of at least 80% of NAV to a single underlying asset, limit the first phase to BTC or ETH, and keep domestic digital asset custodians as the primary custody option. Comments are open until Sept. 20.
