21Shares has added two more cryptocurrency exchange-traded products in Europe, this time tied to Lighter’s LIT token and Venice’s VVV token. The issuer said the products are physically backed, allowing investors to gain exposure through standard brokerage accounts rather than holding the tokens themselves.
The launches were announced for October 20. The Lighter ETP trades under the ticker LIHT on Deutsche Börse Xetra, while the Venice ETP, VENC, is listed on SIX Swiss Exchange. Both products carry an annual fee of 2.50%.
Two new token-linked products
The new listings extend 21Shares’ range of single-asset crypto ETPs in Europe. In both cases, the products are designed to track a specific token while the underlying crypto is held by custodians, giving investors market exposure through a conventional securities account.
That structure means buyers do not need to manage wallets or interact directly with the token networks. At the same time, the products still remain tied to the price movements of the underlying assets, and any returns are reduced by the stated annual fee.
Lighter ETP starts trading on Xetra
The LIHT product tracks LIT, the native token of Lighter, a decentralized exchange focused on perpetual futures trading. According to 21Shares, the platform supports markets across cryptocurrencies as well as equities, foreign exchange and commodities.
21Shares said Lighter uses zero-knowledge technology so that parts of its trading infrastructure, including order matching and liquidations, can be verified. The issuer also said the platform’s economic model directs revenue toward repurchasing LIT and permanently burning tokens.
Venice product targets privacy-focused AI token
The second launch, VENC, is tied to Venice Token, or VVV. Venice is described as an AI platform built to reduce the retention and exposure of user information, and it offers an API that is compatible with OpenAI’s interface for developers connecting applications to its services.
Details on the issuer’s product page show Anchorage Digital Bank and BitGo as custodians for the Venice ETP, with Flow Traders and Virtu Financial Ireland acting as authorized participants and market makers. The page lists an inception date of October 19, 65,000 securities outstanding and an initial net asset value of $20 per security, implying $1.3 million in assets at launch.
21Shares said Venice directs part of subscription revenue and API credit purchases toward token buybacks and burns. It also noted, however, that recurring burns are still below issuance and that holding VVV does not provide equity ownership or governance rights in the company.
Part of a broader European expansion
The two launches follow 21Shares’ September rollout of Zcash and ether.fi ETPs in Europe. The company has also previously introduced similar products for decentralized finance-related assets, including a dYdX-linked ETP launched in September 2025.
Access to such instruments has been widening through existing brokerage channels. In February, ING Germany began offering cryptocurrency ETP trading to retail brokerage clients, with 21Shares among the product partners.
What investors get and what they do not
The Lighter and Venice ETPs provide listed exposure to two very different crypto-linked businesses: one centered on decentralized derivatives trading and the other on privacy-focused AI services. But in both cases, shareholders in the ETPs do not gain direct control over the underlying tokens held by custodians.
21Shares’ regulatory disclosure also states that the securities are not being publicly offered in the United States. For now, the confirmed next step is trading on their respective European venues, with LIHT on Xetra and VENC on SIX Swiss Exchange.
