US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds ended the week of Oct. 19-23 with net inflows of $304.73 million, according to SoSoValue data, even after a sharp one-day withdrawal of $635.49 million late in the period. The result left Bitcoin products in positive territory for the week, but only after strong early inflows offset two consecutive sessions of losses.
Spot Ethereum ETFs moved in the opposite direction, posting $220.6 million in net outflows over the same five trading days. Outside the two largest crypto ETF categories, funds tied to ZEC led weekly inflows, while products linked to SOL and HYPE recorded the biggest withdrawals among the altcoin group.
Bitcoin funds stayed positive despite late-week reversal
US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in capital on the first three trading days of the period before sentiment turned. SoSoValue data shows inflows of $526.6 million on Oct. 19, $23.16 million on Oct. 20, and $528.4 million on Oct. 21, making the third session the strongest day of the week for the category.
That momentum reversed on Oct. 22, when Bitcoin ETFs recorded $635.49 million in net outflows. The pullback continued on Oct. 23 with another $137.94 million leaving the products. Even so, the earlier gains were large enough to keep the weekly total in the green at $304.73 million.
Ethereum ETFs posted another weekly loss
Ethereum ETF flows remained negative overall, continuing the pattern seen in the previous week. Over the Oct. 19-23 stretch, US spot Ethereum ETFs posted total net outflows of $220.6 million.
The daily breakdown was mixed but leaned negative: outflows of $103.28 million on Oct. 19 and $26.13 million on Oct. 20 were followed by a modest inflow of $14.96 million on Oct. 21. Another $110.5 million left the funds on Oct. 22, the largest daily decline of the week, before a smaller inflow of $4.35 million on Oct. 23.
ZEC led altcoin ETF inflows
Among crypto ETF products tied to assets other than Bitcoin and Ethereum, ZEC-based funds brought in the most capital during the week at $41.09 million. Other categories that posted net inflows were NEAR ETFs with $5.22 million, XRP ETFs with $4.25 million, LTC ETFs with $0.58 million, and HBAR ETFs with $0.1 million.
On the outflow side, SOL ETFs lost $17.3 million and HYPE ETFs shed $15.22 million, giving the two segments combined withdrawals of more than $32 million. DOGE ETFs also recorded net outflows of $0.54 million for the period.
No movement in several markets and products
Several crypto ETF categories finished the week without any recorded capital movement. According to the same dataset, BNB, TRX, LINK, AVAX, and DOT ETFs saw no net flows during the period.
The Hong Kong market was also inactive on this measure, with no capital flows recorded in spot cryptocurrency ETFs over the week. A week earlier, investors had withdrawn more than $548 million from Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs combined, providing the immediate backdrop to the latest flow data.
What the latest flow data confirms
The confirmed picture from Oct. 19-23 is a split market. Bitcoin ETFs absorbed enough demand early in the week to end positive despite heavy withdrawals in the final two sessions, while Ethereum ETFs continued to lose assets on a net basis.
For now, the next confirmed step is the arrival of the next weekly fund-flow update. Based on the latest published figures, Bitcoin remained the only major US spot crypto ETF segment to post a net weekly inflow, while ZEC stood out among smaller crypto fund categories.
