Hashdex to liquidate US-listed Bitcoin ETF DEFI after weak demand Hashdex will close and liquidate its NYSE Arca-listed Bitcoin ETF, DEFI, with trading set to end after the market closes on Aug. 17. The fund held about $14.7 million in assets as of July 30, and Hashdex said the shutdown was driven by its asset base, trading liquidity, operating costs and investor demand. Shareholders still holding the ETF after delisting are expected to receive a cash distribution around Aug. 28.
