US spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds tied to Bitcoin and Ethereum both ended the week of October 12 to 16, 2026, with net withdrawals, according to SoSoValue data. Across the two segments, investors pulled a combined $548.55 million over five trading sessions.
Bitcoin ETFs recorded $228.58 million in net outflows for the week, while Ethereum ETFs saw a larger $319.97 million leave the category. The data shows that losses were concentrated in a handful of sessions and, in both cases, the sharpest daily withdrawal came in the middle of the week.
Bitcoin funds swung between inflows and outflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted negative net flows on three of the five trading days in the period. SoSoValue data shows outflows of $65.4 million on October 12, inflows of $175.62 million on October 13, outflows of $261.46 million on October 14, inflows of $5.06 million on October 15, and outflows of $82.39 million on October 16.
That left the group with a total weekly outflow of $228.58 million. The largest single-day decline came on October 14, when $261.46 million was withdrawn from the segment.
At the individual fund level, BlackRock’s IBIT saw the largest loss among Bitcoin ETFs, with $165.45 million in outflows during the reporting week. Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust, listed as MSBT, posted the biggest inflow in the category at $6.67 million.
Ethereum ETFs saw steeper withdrawals
Spot Ethereum ETFs in the US had a weaker week than their Bitcoin counterparts, finishing the period with $319.97 million in net outflows. The category recorded negative flows on four of the five sessions covered by the data.
Daily moves included outflows of $85.4 million on October 12, an inflow of $24.84 million on October 13, outflows of $129.51 million on October 14, outflows of $60.22 million on October 15, and outflows of $69.68 million on October 16.
The largest one-day withdrawal also fell on October 14. Among individual Ethereum products, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, ETHA, accounted for most of the weekly losses with $298.97 million in outflows. Fidelity Ethereum Fund, trading as FETH, logged the largest inflow in the segment at $10.55 million.
Other crypto ETF segments were mixed
Outside Bitcoin and Ethereum, fund flows were uneven across ETFs tied to other digital assets. NEAR-based ETFs led that group with $11.65 million in inflows over the week.
LINK ETFs added $0.79 million and DOT ETFs brought in $0.59 million. By contrast, SOL ETFs recorded the largest outflows in the non-Bitcoin, non-Ethereum segment at $25.52 million.
Other categories that ended the week in the red were ZEC ETFs with $19.15 million in outflows, HYPE ETFs with $17.57 million, XRP ETFs with $1.84 million, HBAR ETFs with $0.56 million, DOGE ETFs with $0.54 million, and BNB ETFs with $0.28 million. TRX, LTC, and AVAX ETFs finished the period with no recorded capital flows.
What the weekly data confirms
The reported figures cover the five trading sessions from October 12 through October 16 and reflect weekly net fund movements rather than price performance. Based on those totals, Ethereum-linked products saw the larger share of withdrawals, while Bitcoin funds also ended the week in negative territory despite two days of inflows.
The clearest next reference point will be the following set of daily and weekly flow updates, which will show whether the mid-October withdrawals were a short-lived move or the start of a broader trend. For now, the confirmed data shows sustained outflows from both major US spot crypto ETF categories during the reported week.
