BitMart begins phased exchange shutdown as BMX drops about 63%

BitMart begins exchange shutdown, to end trading on Aug. 26 BitMart has begun a phased shutdown of its global crypto exchange, stopping new registrations, crypto and fiat deposits, and new orders from 01:30 UTC on July 26 after a review of operating conditions, the market environment, and future strategy. All spot, futures, and other trading will end at 01:00 UTC on Aug. 26, while BMX fell about 63% in 24 hours after the announcement.
