Robinhood Chain has become the largest blockchain by real-world asset holder count less than a month after its public mainnet launch, according to data from RWA.xyz. The Ethereum layer-2 network went live on July 1 and has quickly moved ahead of older ecosystems on this measure.
Launch and early adoption
The network’s rise has been driven by rapid uptake of tokenized real-world assets after launch. The source article says Robinhood benefited from its existing brokerage customer base, helping it build scale quickly in a segment that many chains have spent far longer trying to develop.
RWA.xyz data cited in the report shows Robinhood Chain has nearly 330,000 RWA holders. It also has about $24.12 million in distributed asset value and more than $20 million in represented asset value. At the time of writing, the network hosted roughly 1,900 tokenized assets.
The same dataset puts monthly transfer volume on Robinhood Chain near $750 million. By holder count, it ranks ahead of Solana, Plume, Ethereum and BNB Chain.
How it compares with rivals
Robinhood’s lead applies specifically to holder count, not overall asset value. Ethereum remains the largest network for RWAs by total value, with almost $18 billion hosted on-chain, according to the source material. BNB Chain and Solana follow Ethereum on that metric.
That distinction highlights the different ways RWA adoption can be measured. Robinhood Chain has rapidly built a large user base, while older networks still account for much larger pools of tokenized value.
Tokenized stocks at the center
The milestone comes as tokenized stock offerings expand across Europe. Robinhood Chain is built for regulated financial assets and supports round-the-clock trading in tokenized US equities and exchange-traded funds, the report says.
Settlements are handled on Ethereum using Arbitrum technology. The article presents tokenized stocks as the chain’s longer-term differentiator, even if that market is not yet the network’s biggest driver of on-chain activity.
Current activity mix
For now, the source says meme coin trading accounts for most decentralized exchange volume on Robinhood Chain. That suggests the network’s trading profile is still broader than its RWA positioning alone.
At the same time, stablecoin use on the chain is also expanding. The article says stablecoin market capitalization has risen 22% and is approaching $500 million.
Taken together, the figures point to a fast start for Robinhood Chain in tokenized assets, especially by user count. Whether that early lead in holders translates into a larger share of total RWA value remains unclear, but the network has established itself as a notable entrant soon after launch.
