Velocity raises $38M Series A for stablecoin treasury and settlement platform Velocity, a startup that lets corporate users hold, move and settle funds with stablecoins while connecting to bank rails and compliance systems, raised $38 million in a Series A led by Dragonfly and FirstMark. The July 14 round, which included Capital One Ventures, QED, Coinbase Ventures, Wintermute Ventures and Ripple, brings total funding to nearly $50 million since May and will fund network expansion, product development and regulatory capabilities.
