TRON DAO says its third-quarter 2026 ecosystem report shows continued growth in stablecoin use and broader network activity. The organization said stablecoin settlement on TRON reached $2.21 trillion during the quarter, while average daily settlement volume rose 3.9% from the previous quarter to $24.05 billion.

The report also said TRON passed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume in Q3. Alongside that milestone, the network posted higher stablecoin supply, larger total value locked, and a wider active-address base, even as fee generation eased from Q2 levels.

Settlement and transaction metrics climbed

According to the report, TRON remained heavily used for stablecoin transfers and digital-asset movement during the quarter. The network’s cumulative transaction volume moved beyond $30 trillion in Q3 2026, a benchmark TRON presented as part of its latest operating update.

TRON said combined USDT and USDD supply on the network reached $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from Q2. Total value locked including staking rose to $28.21 billion, while TVL excluding staking, which the report described as DeFi TVL, stood at $13.05 billion.

Address growth outpaced fee trends

Network participation indicators improved during the quarter, based on the figures in the report. Average rolling monthly active addresses increased 9.8% to 18 million, while transaction activity was described as broadly steady.

At the same time, fee generation moderated. TRON said fees totaled $701.4 million in Q3, averaging $7.62 million per day, down 4.0% from Q2. The average daily transaction fee also declined, falling from $0.668 to $0.643.

Q3 included new products and integrations

TRON’s report also highlighted a series of ecosystem additions across custody, staking, trading, wallets, payments, and developer tools. Anchorage Digital added TRX staking and TRC-20 custody, while Bitnomial and Backpack expanded access to TRX markets. Ethena launched USDe and sUSDe on TRON, and Ducat connected its Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure with the network’s stablecoin ecosystem.

Other integrations focused on user access and payments. MoonPay introduced gasless transactions through Trust Wallet, removing the need to hold TRX for network fees, and Bitcoin.com Wallet added native support for TRX and USDT-TRC20. MetaMask connectivity expanded across B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent, while Fireblocks Flow added support for payments from TRON wallets. Eco, STON.fi, KiiChain, Privy, and OpenZeppelin were also listed among projects that broadened cross-chain, wallet, infrastructure, and developer support on the network.

ETF launch marked a notable quarter event

One of the quarter’s notable market developments was the launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF, trading under the ticker TRXS. TRON said Canary Capital launched the fund on September 9, 2026, offering exposure to the spot price of TRX together with net staking rewards reflected in the fund’s daily net asset value.

Later in the month, on September 29, TRON DAO’s team rang the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago to mark the launch. The report presented the listing as part of a broader quarter in which institutional access and infrastructure around the TRON ecosystem continued to expand.

What the report points to next

The quarterly update frames Q3 as a period of growth in settlement activity, liquidity, and network participation, with a large part of the expansion tied to stablecoin infrastructure. At the same time, the figures show that stronger address activity did not translate into higher fee generation over the quarter.

The next confirmed step is TRON’s move into Q4 2026 with the newly reported metrics as a baseline. Based on the report, attention will likely remain on whether stablecoin settlement, supply growth, and the new integrations continue to build on the levels recorded in the third quarter.
