TRON DAO says its network handled $2.21 trillion in stablecoin settlement during the third quarter of 2026, according to its latest ecosystem report. The report also states that TRON’s cumulative transaction volume moved past $30 trillion during the quarter.
Alongside settlement growth, the report points to higher address activity and larger stablecoin balances on the network. It also shows mixed fee trends, with total network fees reaching $701.4 million in Q3 even as average daily fees and per-transaction costs declined from the prior quarter.
Settlement and transaction metrics moved higher
According to the report, average daily stablecoin settlement volume rose 3.9% from the second quarter to $24.05 billion in Q3 2026. TRON presented that increase as part of broader growth in transaction activity across the network.
The quarter also marked a cumulative milestone, with total transaction volume on TRON surpassing $30 trillion. In the same period, the network’s average rolling monthly active addresses increased 9.8% quarter on quarter to 18 million, indicating a wider active user base by TRON’s measurement.
Stablecoin supply and locked value expanded
TRON said the supply of USDT and USDD on its network climbed to $93.88 billion in the third quarter, up 5.5% from Q2. The figures suggest continued expansion in the amount of stablecoin liquidity circulating on the chain.
The report also listed total value locked, including staking, at $28.21 billion. Within that, DeFi TVL was reported at $13.05 billion, pointing to continued capital tied to lending, trading, and other on-chain financial activity in the ecosystem.
Fees eased on a daily basis despite large quarterly totals
For Q3, network fees totaled $701.4 million, which TRON said worked out to an average of $7.62 million per day. That daily average was down 4.0% from the previous quarter.
The report also said average daily transaction fees declined to $0.643 from $0.668 in Q2. That means the network recorded lower average fee levels even as settlement volumes, stablecoin balances, and active addresses increased over the same period.
Partnerships and product integrations widened infrastructure
TRON said its ecosystem broadened during the quarter through work with Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Backpack, Ethena, and Ducat. The report said those efforts added institutional custody and staking options, new trading venues, digital dollar products, and wider support across payments, wallets, treasury tools, cross-chain services, and DeFi.
Additional integrations cited in the report included MoonPay’s gasless transactions through Trust Wallet and native TRX and USDT-TRC20 support in Bitcoin.com Wallet. MetaMask connectivity was extended to B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent, while Fireblocks Flow added support for TRON wallet payments.
On the cross-chain and developer side, TRON said Eco and STON.fi introduced stablecoin connectivity, and KiiChain linked TRON assets into its network. Privy expanded wallet, transaction, and policy-management features for developers, while OpenZeppelin made available its smart contract libraries and security tooling.
What the report shows going into Q4
Taken together, the Q3 figures described by TRON point to continued growth in stablecoin settlement, liquidity, and network usage, alongside further buildout of supporting infrastructure. At the same time, the report shows that some cost measures, including average daily fees and average transaction fees, moved lower than in Q2.
The next confirmed step is the move into the fourth quarter, where TRON says it is carrying forward a larger stablecoin base, higher active-address levels, and a wider set of integrations for payments, treasury management, and DeFi applications.
