US spot Solana exchange-traded funds have reached a new cumulative inflow record of $1.22 billion, extending a recent run of demand even as SOL remains well below its historical peak. The latest milestone was helped by $33.5 million in net inflows on Monday, the biggest single-day intake of 2026 so far for the six US spot products and the fifth consecutive session of positive flows.
The fund momentum has arrived alongside record on-chain activity for the Solana network. Even so, the token’s price has not matched those operational highs, highlighting a gap between stronger usage metrics and market performance.
ETF inflows set a fresh record
The cumulative net total for US spot Solana ETFs now stands at $1.22 billion, according to the source article. Monday’s $33.5 million addition marked the strongest day of the year for the group of six listed products and continued a five-session streak of net inflows.
The article said the overall total has been driven mainly by Bitwise’s BSOL. It also noted a concentration risk in that pattern, since one issuer has accounted for much of the demand while flows across the category have been volatile during the year. Another product, TSOL, has posted net outflows for most of the period.
Network throughput and tokenized assets climb
At the same time, activity on Solana has continued to expand. The network processed a record 4.2 billion transactions in July, up 13.5% from June and 91% higher than in December 2025.
Solana also raised its block limits by 66% in July, lifting compute units from 60 million to 100 million. On-chain tokenized real-world assets reached $3.73 billion in value, with more than 313,000 addresses holding those assets, according to the report.
Speculative trading remains active
The source article also pointed to strong activity in meme coins, with volume reaching $5.2 billion in mid-August. It described that figure as the highest reading of 2026.
That increase in speculative trading has added to the broader picture of elevated network usage. Still, the article did not show a comparable breakout in SOL’s market price despite the rise in transactions, product inflows, and sector activity on-chain.
SOL price still trails earlier highs
SOL was trading near $96 at the time of the report, down 2.36% on the day and 49% below its level a year earlier. The token had gained 24% over the past week, but it remained about 67% below its all-time high of $293.31.
That leaves Solana in an unusual position where record ETF inflows and record network throughput are arriving together, yet the asset itself is still far from prior peak levels. Whether those records translate into a more durable recovery in price remains uncertain.
Next focus is the Alpenglow upgrade
Traders are now watching the Alpenglow upgrade, which the article said is being followed for faster finality on the network. That makes the upgrade one of the next concrete developments in Solana’s near-term story.
For now, the confirmed picture is mixed: institutional products have taken in a record amount of capital, core network usage has climbed to new highs, and several on-chain segments are expanding. The unresolved question is whether those fundamentals will eventually be reflected more fully in SOL’s price.
