United Stables has selected Chainlink as the official oracle and cross-chain infrastructure provider for its U stablecoin, a move announced after U exceeded $1 billion in circulating supply and more than $2.5 billion in daily trading volume. The company said Chainlink Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve are already live, with additional cross-chain functionality planned.

Current rollout goes live

The initial integration centers on two Chainlink services now in operation for U: Data Feeds and Proof of Reserve. United Stables said these tools are intended to give users, institutional counterparties, and decentralized finance applications access to verified pricing information and continuous visibility into the stablecoin’s collateral backing.

Athena, chief executive officer of United Stables, said the company sees cryptographic verification as a basic requirement for trust as U grows beyond its first deployments. According to her, the Chainlink setup is designed to let market participants independently confirm reserves around the clock while using trusted price data within on-chain applications.

Cross-chain plans still ahead

Alongside the live products, United Stables said it plans to integrate Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP. The company said the protocol is intended to support secure transfers of U between different blockchain networks as the stablecoin broadens its multichain footprint.

United Stables described CCIP as a way to lower friction when liquidity moves across supported chains while adding another security layer for interoperability. The company has not said in the article when that part of the rollout will go live, only that it is part of the next phase of infrastructure for U.

Expansion across DeFi and multiple chains

The Chainlink announcement fits into the roadmap United Stables introduced when U launched late last year. The company said it has been pursuing decentralized finance integrations with PancakeSwap, ListaDAO, Aster, and Four.meme, while also planning features such as confidential balances and AI-focused payment capabilities.

Those future additions are expected to rely on technologies including EIP-3009 and delegated transaction execution, according to United Stables. The broader goal, as outlined by the company, is to combine liquidity infrastructure with oracle services, reserve verification, and interoperability tools as U expands across BNB Chain, Ethereum, TRON, and other supported blockchain networks.

Chainlink’s role in institutional crypto infrastructure

Chainlink Labs framed the partnership as part of the growing use of its services by stablecoin and DeFi projects seeking data and interoperability infrastructure. Johann Eid, chief business officer at Chainlink Labs, said the arrangement would help United Stables extend U across decentralized finance using Chainlink’s decentralized oracle and interoperability network.

According to Eid, the platform is built to support stablecoin activity at institutional scale across multiple blockchains. United Stables similarly said the combination of Chainlink products is meant to deliver transparent collateral checks, secure price data, and eventual cross-chain transfers as adoption of U continues.

The announcement ties a fresh infrastructure decision to a growth milestone for the stablecoin: more than $1 billion in circulating supply and over $2.5 billion in daily trading volume. While the reserve verification and data-feed components are already active, the cross-chain transfer layer remains a stated plan for future deployment.
