Ondo Finance has introduced seven tokenized portfolio products on Solana under its Ondo Intelligent Portfolios range, extending a product line that was previously available on Ethereum and BNB Chain. The launch brings a broader set of tokenized stock and ETF-based portfolios to another major blockchain network as issuers continue to test on-chain wrappers for traditional assets.
The new Solana line-up includes three income-focused portfolios, two growth portfolios and two thematic portfolios. According to Ondo, three of the seven products use portfolio strategies developed by BlackRock, while the underlying assets come from Ondo Stocks and are backed by actual securities.
How the portfolios are structured
The portfolios are built from tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds supplied through Ondo Stocks. Ondo said these tokens are backed by real securities, giving the products exposure to conventional financial instruments while packaging them in an on-chain format.
Rather than requiring holders to buy each component separately or manually adjust allocations, the portfolio structure embeds asset allocation and fee processing into smart contracts. Rebalancing takes place on a preset schedule using predefined rules, which the company says is designed to reduce operational friction for users.
On-chain features and visibility
Ondo said portfolio holdings, weightings and rebalancing records are all available on-chain. That structure is meant to make the composition and maintenance of each product visible through blockchain records rather than relying only on off-chain reporting.
The tokens can also be transferred around the clock and integrated with supported decentralized finance applications. That gives the products some of the portability of typical crypto assets, even though the exposures are tied to tokenized versions of stocks and ETFs.
Earlier rollout on Ethereum and BNB Chain
Before arriving on Solana, the same seven Ondo Intelligent Portfolios had already launched on Ethereum and BNB Chain. Ondo said the products surpassed $45 million in total value locked within weeks of trading on those earlier networks.
The company also described Ondo Intelligent Portfolios as the largest on-chain portfolio product. That claim was presented by Ondo alongside the TVL figure as it highlighted early traction for the strategy across multiple chains.
What comes next
Ondo said it plans to add more portfolio types in an effort to broaden investor choice. No further launch timeline or product details were provided in the source material.
For now, the confirmed next step is the expansion of the existing seven-product range to Solana, adding another distribution network for Ondo’s tokenized portfolio products while keeping allocation, fees and scheduled rebalancing managed on-chain.
