BNB Chain token launchpad Flap generated $1.18 million in revenue on Aug. 1, enough to move ahead of Pump.fun’s wider product group in daily earnings for the first time. Data cited from DefiLlama showed Flap at $1,183,980 for the day, compared with $1,103,266 for the combined Pump family, which includes the pump.fun launchpad, PumpSwap and its trading terminal.

The result marked a notable shift in launchpad activity, especially because it came while Pump was still posting strong numbers of its own. From July 27 through July 31, the Pump group had brought in between $1.3 million and $1.44 million per day before falling behind Flap on Aug. 1.

Rapid rise over two weeks

Flap’s move to the top followed a sharp acceleration in revenue over a short period. The platform made $28,343 on July 19, then rose to $541,637 on July 30 and $663,511 on July 31 before reaching its Aug. 1 peak.

That sequence amounts to roughly a 40-fold increase in about two weeks. The pace of the climb stood out even against Pump’s still-elevated activity in the final days of July.

BNB Chain drove almost all of the total

Nearly all of Flap’s Aug. 1 revenue came from BNB Chain. Of the $1.18 million total, BNB Chain accounted for $1.18 million, while Robinhood Chain and X Layer contributed only small amounts.

The concentration suggests the revenue surge was overwhelmingly tied to demand on BNB Chain rather than a broad-based increase across multiple networks.

Binance Life relaunch coincided with the spike

The jump in activity coincided with the relaunch on Flap of 币安人生, or “Binance Life,” a memecoin that previously saw a dramatic rally on Four.Meme last October. According to the source article, the token had surged more than 3,000% at that time after Binance co-founder Yi He posted the phrase on X.

Per CoinMarketCap, the token’s original developers deployed a new contract and relaunched it on Flap in late July. The timing overlapped with Flap’s revenue breakout, though the source only states the events coincided.

A broader shift in BNB launchpad flow

Flap’s rise also appears to reflect a wider change in where BNB Chain launch activity is happening. Four.Meme, another launchpad on the chain, briefly moved ahead of Pump.fun in October 2025, showing that BNB-based platforms have challenged Solana launchpad dominance before.

Since then, however, Flap has absorbed nearly all of that chain’s launch flow, according to the source article. Over the same period, Four.Meme’s revenue has fallen to about $17,000 per day.

The next confirmed point to watch is whether Flap can sustain daily revenue at levels high enough to keep ahead of the broader Pump family, or whether Aug. 1 proves to be a one-day reversal tied to a specific token relaunch on BNB Chain.
