BNB Chain was the largest blockchain for tokenized equities in the third quarter of 2026, according to the reported figures, as activity in the segment accelerated sharply over the period. Trading volume on the network reached about $25.6 billion in Q3, while tokenized-equity supply climbed to $1.13 billion.
The quarter marked a steep increase from Q2, when BNB Chain recorded roughly $2.4 billion in tokenized-equity trading. Most of the new volume came from decentralized exchanges, with a smaller share attributed to Ondo Global Markets.
Volume expanded rapidly in one quarter
BNB Chain’s tokenized-stock market grew from a relatively small base into a major business line during Q3. Quarterly tokenized-equity trading rose to around $25.6 billion, roughly eleven times the prior quarter’s level.
Of that total, $24.4 billion was traded through decentralized exchanges. Another $1.2 billion came via Ondo Global Markets, showing that DEX activity accounted for the overwhelming majority of the quarter’s turnover on the chain.
BNB Chain moved ahead of rival networks
The reported scale put BNB Chain ahead of other blockchains in tokenized-asset DEX trading during the quarter. Across major chains, tracked tokenized-asset DEX volume totaled $45.8 billion in Q3, meaning BNB Chain represented more than half of that amount.
Robinhood Chain ranked next with $10.2 billion in quarterly tokenized-asset DEX volume, followed by Solana at $6.4 billion. On BNB Chain itself, tokenized-asset pairs also became a much larger part of spot trading activity, rising to 32.3% of all spot DEX volume from just 0.2% in Q2.
Supply and holder counts also increased
By the end of the quarter, BNB Chain held $1.13 billion in tokenized equities, up from $560 million at the end of Q2. The doubling in supply gave it the largest tokenized-equity base of any blockchain covered in the data.
That total represented about 39% of the $2.89 billion in tokenized public equities tracked across chains. BNB Chain also led on holder distribution, with roughly 1.8 million tokenized-equity holders, equal to 38% of the cross-chain total.
Growth in tokenized equities coincided with stronger network economics
The surge in tokenized equities was accompanied by broader gains in BNB Chain’s operating metrics. Network revenue increased 54% quarter over quarter to $54.2 million, while token-holder net income rose 57% to $45.1 million.
Total quarterly transactions reached 1.51 billion, up 7.5% from the previous quarter. The figures suggest tokenized equities were not only a visible growth story in Q3 but also a category that coincided with stronger chain-level activity and revenue.
What the Q3 figures show next
The reported results indicate that tokenized equities became a significant part of BNB Chain’s market activity over a very short period. Whether that lead persists will depend on whether the quarter’s growth can continue and broaden beyond a small number of dominant products.
For now, the confirmed picture from Q3 is that BNB Chain finished the period with the highest tokenized-equity trading volume, the largest tracked supply, and the widest holder base among the chains cited in the report.
