BNB Chain has become the biggest blockchain by asset share on Franklin Templeton’s Benji tokenization platform, according to data cited from RWA.xyz. The network now accounts for about $1.5 billion in distributed Benji assets, overtaking Stellar in the platform’s onchain allocation.

Network share shifts

As of July 18, RWA.xyz listed total distributed assets on the Benji platform at roughly $2.44 billion. Of that amount, about $1.5 billion was recorded on BNB Chain, giving it 61.71% of the platform’s distributed asset value.

The change puts BNB Chain in first place among the blockchains used by Benji. Stellar, which had previously held the lead, has moved into second place. Ethereum was listed behind both networks.

Expansion after 2025 launch

The change in distribution follows Franklin Templeton’s decision in 2025 to bring the Benji Technology Platform to BNB Chain. That expansion enabled onchain transactions and ownership records for tokenized financial products on the network.

The latest figures suggest that the addition of BNB Chain has materially changed how Benji assets are spread across supported blockchains. While the source data shows current balances by network, it does not specify over what period the shift took place beyond noting the change since the 2025 integration.

Broader rollout of BENJI

Franklin Templeton has continued to widen access to BENJI through a series of partnerships and distribution moves. The firm expanded BENJI availability through MoonPay Trade, adding another route for access to the tokenized product.

It has also worked with Kraken’s Payward on an arrangement to use BENJI as both a collateral instrument and a cash management tool. In a separate agreement with Binance, Franklin Templeton partnered on tokenized money market fund shares for use as off-exchange collateral.

Multi-chain tokenization push

The latest network rankings underline Franklin Templeton’s broader effort to extend tokenized finance across multiple public blockchains and service platforms globally. Benji’s asset footprint is now spread across BNB Chain, Stellar and Ethereum, while related integrations through Kraken, MoonPay and Binance point to a strategy that combines blockchain distribution with exchange and payments access.

The available data shows a clear lead for BNB Chain in Benji’s current network mix, but the broader significance of that lead will depend on how Franklin Templeton’s multi-chain rollout develops from here.
